• Contractor building off plan large variation of steel and aluminum awnings and decks along with associated stairs and footings etc. (2 Years)
• Moved into construction manager role managing 2-3 teams of installers 1 salesman and office staff.
• Surveyed sites to determine material needs and accurately manage inventories and budgets.
• Securing all council and water board permits required for construction.
• Monitored subcontractor operations and applied effective time, resource and money management strategies to deliver under-budget project completion.
• Quantity calculation and ordering of all materials
• Liaising with clients pre and post construction.
• Closure of jobs confirming all defect and client concerns were met.
• Verified completed projects met approved time, quality and cost estimates.

Took on job for 2 weeks as a fill in for an apprentice plumber. This led to 2 years involved in all aspects of drainage, some general plumbing and installation of patented grease traps for commercial use.

Also involved in installation of domestic "Envirocycle" septic systems for new homes outside the range of sewage mains networks.

Out come has been a very good knowledge and hands on experience of plumbing requirements in domestic construction.
