STUDENT DIETITIAN, EASTERN HEALTH (February - April 2023) – Maroondah Hospital – Clinical placement, 

• Provided 2 months of diverse clinical experience, offering exceptional care to a caseload of 4-5 patients, spanning general medicine, general surgery, and ICU.
• Maintained the highest standards and adhered to best practice clinic guidelines at Eastern Health.
• Established positive patient rapport through respectful interviews and educational sessions. Generated thorough patient notes in both the electronic medical record (EMR) and Clinical Patient Folder (CPF) system.
• Presented the Malnutrition Screening Tool (MST) to nursing staff and collaborated effectively with medical teams to articulate plans and goals clearly.

STUDENT DIETITIAN, EASTERN HEALTH (October 2022) – Healesville Hospital – Food Service Placement, 

• Conducted interviews with patients, nursing, and food service staff to assess food quality satisfaction and identify reasons for food waste.
• Compiled daily lunch and dinner food waste data to establish trends.
• Analyzed data using Excel for quantitative insights and thematic coding for qualitative assessment.
• Presented findings to a professional team, including foodservice staff, Eastern Health executives, and CPK manager, fostering engagement with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.

STUDENT DIETIAN, PENNINSULA HEALTH – Online remotely - Public Health Placement, 

• Collaborated with the health promotion team to assess the impact of the Community Plate collective impact backbone.
• Conducted structured interviews with current and former stakeholders of the Community Plate initiative.
• Applied a coding framework to analyse the interview results thematically. Based on the findings, made recommendations for improved implementation of the program.

SAMARITANS PURSE MISSION TRIP - Cambodia (2018)

Contributed to a volunteer mission trip in Cambodia, focusing on positively impacting the lives of children and communities. Played a key role in teaching English, developing lesson plans, and delivering engaging sessions for language learning. Gained cross-cultural experiences, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and honed leadership abilities in the pursuit of community development goals.
