  • Worked for the ESB under the umbrella of Circet Ireland for almost a year and a half.
  • My role was in the role out or Ireland's National Smart Meter Programme, I was a solo technician in which i was tasked with upgrading and installing various electrical smart meter types and various other electrical equipment into homes and business across the country.
  • In my time here i completed several layers of ESB's Live Works training. Each of these requires days of training, a test and a live assessment which allowed me to replace, install and update many Live and exposed electrical components on each job i came across
  • With a lot of the work being live, very high levels of safety had to be reached and maintained for the safety of all those in the house and business myself and the electrical equipment being worked on. During my time i maintained these standards to the highest level possible
  • During this time i also had to maintain, manage, and order all my own stock, organise and book and complete appointments for the customers.
