Summary

Dear Brunswick East Primary School Team, I am writing to express my interest in a part-time or casual relief teaching position at your school. I have a background in both classroom teaching and student support, and I bring a deep commitment to inclusive, responsive, and creative education. Most recently, I have been working on the local payroll at Craigieburn Primary School as a Grade 1 teacher. Before that, I taught Grade 5/6 and worked as a Tutor Learning Initiative teacher at Brunswick North Primary. I have also gained valuable experience as a CRT through Spark, ANZUK, and Tradewind. Earlier in my career, I spent ten years at Brunswick North West Primary School in a variety of roles including OSHC educator, Education Support staff, and weekend tutor for students with additional learning needs. Across all of these roles, my focus has remained clear: to foster a love of learning, to build trust with students and families, and to create a safe, inclusive space where all learners can thrive. Whether through targeted intervention, play based learning, or one on one support, I take pride in helping students recognise their strengths and build confidence in their abilities. My teaching approach strongly aligns with the values of Brunswick East Primary. I believe in nurturing friendship through collaboration and empathy, encouraging creativity through curiosity and exploration, building resilience by celebrating effort and growth, and inspiring wonder through engaging, meaningful learning experiences. I have consistently earned the trust of colleagues, students, and families through my calm presence, professional care, and dedication to student growth. My ongoing postgraduate study in intervention education continues to deepen my understanding of how to meet diverse learning needs. I also draw on insights gained from time spent working at the Alice Springs Community Hub, where I supported Indigenous children, and learned from community-led approaches to education. I would love the opportunity to contribute to your vibrant school community and support the learning journey of your students. Thank you for considering my application. Warm regards, Brianna Bartley.
