I’m a proud surf lifesaver and part of a community that fosters happiness, connection, and support. Being involved in surf lifesaving has helped me grow in confidence and responsibility, and I’m currently completing my First Aid and CPR certificates to build on those skills and contribute even more to the safety of others. At school, I’ve been honoured to receive multiple Endeavour Awards from St Hilda’s, which recognise not just academic effort, but also a mindset of persistence, curiosity, and always striving to improve.
A big part of who I am comes from my background in sport. I’ve dedicated over 10 years to competitive gymnastics, a journey that has taught me life skills like time management, goal setting, and how to bounce back from setbacks. Gymnastics has shown me the value of hard work and the joy of doing something you're genuinely passionate about.
Recently, I also completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award a massive personal achievement that pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me the power of perseverance, leadership, and self-belief. Whether it was hiking through difficult terrain, volunteering in my community, or building new skills, the experience shaped me into someone who doesn’t give up easily.
All of these experiences in sport, service, and school, have shaped my values and the kind of person I aim to be: hardworking, kind, and always willing to take on a challenge with a positive attitude.
