  • Assisted in implementing, co-designing and co-facilitating targeted mental health psycho-social group programs within an acute setting. These groups focused on activities of daily living, cooking, art therapy, making healthy choices and understanding schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression and anxiety. These groups were made in collaboration with the unit psychologist.
  • Demonstrated an ability to administer, interpret and report multiple Mental Health Assessments, such as the Domestic and Community Skills Assessment (DACSA), Kimberly Indigenous Cognitive Assessment (KICA-Cog), Model of Human Occupation Screening Tool (MOHOST), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System (ABAS-3) which assisted in NDIS SIL applications for consumers.
  • Advocated for consumer needs and the role of OT within the Mental Health setting.
