- Service: Routine safety checks every 5 weeks to certify compliance of boilers are safe to run on site. List down any repairs that need to be fixed up. Working on a Type B gas appliance, checking our combustion gas is within tolerance in our firing range. Covering checks on gas trains, burner fan motors, feed water pumps, and high-pressure steam lines. Make sure flange management is correct. Also working on Diesel/Oil Burners.
- Removals: Remove old boilers, feedwater tanks, and pressure vessel. Disconnect all components first, such as electrical. Always lock out and tag out according to procedures. Disconnecting steam, gas, and water and making sure services are securely blanked off with allocated valves and blanking plates, or plugs. Before using cranes, rigging gear, and skates to remove the boiler or pressure vessel.
- Install: Help out crane company to lift boilers/vessels into place, lift up all components like walkways, stairs, economizers, ductwork, combustion flues, structural bracing, Pressure pipework, oil/gas, water and steam. Follow engineering drawings and procedures as instructed. Bolt everything together using the correct grade and size of bolt, washers, and nuts. Flange management with correct torques on curtain flanges. Using correct gaskets for each component.
- Repair: Pressure vessels, internal, and external. Boiler tube removals and replacements. Electrical, Fitting, Plumbing, Gas, Welding.
