Experienced in trades work, engineering, customer service, Telesales & BDM work, Operations, across a range of sectors of the construction industry. A job with variety and flexibility where I can actively contribute to the growth and development of the company would be preferred. I enjoy talking to people and resolving problems. A Hybrid role with office and face to face interactions with customers would be ideal.
With the Shutdown of Panelcorp (Fairview bought Panelcorp) I transitioned into a Project Sales Role. It was very similar to the role I was doing at Panelcorp, except that I switched markets and had to start from scratch putting the focus on selling into Queensland & Canberra with the emphasis on selling our brand new product range at Fairview (A Fibre Cement Cladding). You could call this role a Whale Hunting role essentially as I targeted projects over 100k in value. This projects can typically take up to 2 years for you to see the results of your work, so its all about relationship building rather than a transactional business. This role involves talking to on average 7 shakeholders per project. I am currently getting out on the road once per month.
