  • Work under guidance of of experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to enhance practical skills. This includes assisting in various tasks including setup of jobs, QA, preparation of equipment for machining and welding, breaking down and clean up.
  • Developing skills and safe use and maintenance of industry-specific tools through hands-on training. Tools including welders, grinders, Lineboring equipment, milling machine, lathes, hand tools and power tools.
  • Prepare work area by setting up required tools and items for Tradesperson.
  • Cleaning of equipment and workshop.

    Member of the Marist College Emerald Instrumental Program playing trumpet in Stage, Concert, Wind Symphony and Brass bands from 2017 to 2023. Performing regularly at community and college functions and Queensland Catholic Schools Music Festival.

    Moore House Captain for 2023. Supporting staff and assisting and encouraging students in various sporting events.

SPECIAL INTERESTS

I was lucky enough to grow up on a property just outside Capella in Central Queensland.  It was here that I was able to learn to ride horses and motorbikes and enjoy the freedom of being a farm kid.  I have also had the opportunity to start to learn to fly planes and assist in the maintenance of aircraft.  I also enjoy waterskiing and in particular barefoot waterskiing.  I attended Marist College in Emerald where I was able to be a part of various sporting teams and the school band.  I started my school based apprenticeship with my family's Lineboring company in 2021 and during this time I have gained valuable knowledge which will assist me to complete my Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Turning).
