Summary

I am a passionate duel registration midwife with almost 20 years experience. I have extensive experience across the continuum of maternity care having worked in a continuity of care model of midwifery for the last 11 years. Working autonomously in a Midwifery Group Practice model has enhanced my time management, communication compassion family centered care skills. Along with self care and awareness of my colleagues needs. Caring for women and babies in an all risk model across two sites from 14 weeks gestation to 6 weeks postnatal, including on call for their birth is a privilege. Each woman and their families require cares to be tailored to their needs, while working within Queensland health guidelines.

I aim to promote positive health outcomes for my families with compassion and understanding. I enjoy working in partnership with my colleagues and the broader team to support each other in providing the gold standard care we are known for.
