Coffs Auto Mart, formerly known as Auto Pro franchise, was one of our last family businesses here in Coffs Harbour.
I worked alongside both my parents and their employees, learning more about running a business and all the aspects that are involved in it.
This involved:
* Serving customers both inquiries and assistance.
* Computer usage, ordering, and receiving of stock.
* Cashing up and balancing of the daily figures.
*Cashing up and balancing of the daily figures.
* Banking and mailing.
* OH&S Training.
* Managing the business while my parents are absent.
I worked casually alongside my grandmother, assisting with her catering business at the local Coffs Harbour Shire Council until her retirement.
This involved many formal dinner functions, including special overseas guests, both formal and informal council meetings.
Ensured compliance with health and safety standards in all catering operations.

I am a true Coffs Harbour local, born and raised in this beautiful part of the world, and I have so much passion for helping people, no matter what age they are. I completed my schooling from pre-school through to high school, along with TAFE here in Coffs Harbour
I started working within our family business and Big W while still attending school, and I continued with Big W after completing the HSC. I was involved in the Coffs Harbour Swimming Club for around 18 years, with both my sons competing, along with me as vice president of the Coffs Harbour Swimming Club throughout some of those years I also became an Aust Swim teacher for a few years during this time at the local Coffs Harbour swimming pool
Being involved with the Coffs Harbour Surf Life Saving Club from 2004 to 2014, with both my sons attending Nippers and competing, along with myself completing Practical and Theory Life Saving Courses up to the Bronze Medallion and participating as one of the Age Managers training children in surf awareness, board skills, and swimming training in the surf
I have always had a high interest in medicine, and would like to continue to learn more about it
I am a hard worker, always putting in 110% into my work, along with a good, strong work ethic, and I take pride in everything I do
I would just like to mention that I resigned from working at Big W in Coffs Harbour after 31 years, as I felt I needed a change, but unfortunately, I miss the customer interaction, and I miss helping and assisting people where I can. I would love the opportunity to work and learn more along the way in the pharmacy sector
