During my time at the Australian and New Zealand Bariatric Surgery Registry, I oversaw the Registry's governance, administrative, research and data reporting operations by managing staffing and database resources ensuring that the primary objective of delivering a quality and safety registry for bariatric surgery are met on a binational level;
Principal responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the Registry, in both strategic and operational capacity across Australia and New Zealand;
Oversee management of the Registry's resources, including the annual budget; staff and recruitment, training and mentoring; managing relationships with relevant outsourced suppliers; and implementing strategies to ensure BSR compliance with resource-related legislation, privacy laws, Ethics Committee requirements and University policy;
Work closely with the Chair of the Steering Committee, Clinical Director of the Registry, Clinical Lead in New Zealand and the Steering Committee to oversee the design and delivery of the Registry remains on project target;
Liaise with key stakeholders and funders on a regular basis including the Commonwealth's Department of Health, Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, the Australia and New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery Society and various industry partners;
