Professional Highlights

  • Established an internal communication framework and governance workflow procedure for the Business Resilience team at AV. The governance tool's introduction allowed the team to remain on track with each governance document's status. Also, due to the approval process differing for each governance document and associated complexities, the workflow tool simplified the overall process, laying out key contact points for each deliverable.

  • Created and developed an eLearning module [utilising Articulate Storyline360 software], launched on AVs eLearning portal. The 'Introduction to Business Resilience' module provides insight into; the foundations of Business Resilience more broadly and within AV, the identification of business disruptions and the potential impacts to AVs day-to-day operations, roles and responsibilities during business-as-usual conditions and during a business disruption, as well as key touchpoints within the Business Continuity Plans.

  • Implemented a series of high-level data analysis investigations, based on two key components identified for strengthening in the Business Continuity Plans, including Relocation Contingency Plans and ICT Services, looking specifically at Recovery Time Objectives [RTOs]. The ICT Services analysis project uncovered inconsistencies associated with the information included in the BCPs and the ICT Services Catalogue. The Relocation Strategies matrix revealed an over reliance of relocation sites. To mitigate this vulnerability, the team engaged relevant stakeholders intending to rethink relocation strategies. The identified vulnerability has since been rectified.
