My professional career began with cheffing in pubs and restaurants in a small town called Warrnambool. I studied my certificate III in commercial cooking at Gordon College in Geelong where I spent 3 years honing my skills and discipline. While studying I was undergoing my apprenticeship at Mid City Motel / Deep Blue Warrnambool where I remained for 2 and a half years until an upper management dispute saw me and many other staff transition to better employment at The Flying Horse Warrnambool. I remained at The Flying Horse for a year and a half where I completed my apprenticeship and further development my skills and proficiency especially when it came to desserts and cakes. My position at the Flying Horse came to a close in the beginning of 2024 when conflicts with the head chef grew to unreasonable proportions to remain in the position.
In 2020 I started my own independent home baking business where I would bake custom cakes for clients all over the south-west Victoria region. I also created social media accounts to advertise and expand the reach of my business of which I continue to manage independently to this day.
After my awful experience in the environment of The Flying Horse Warrnambool kitchen, I began to seek employment in another field entirely in order to detox and improve my mental health. I began employment at ALDI Warrnambool in March of 2024 where I found a comforting and supportive environment in which to thrive as a confident and hard working individual. I then moved to Geelong where I met a whole new team of beautiful people and settled into my new home.
I remained in this position until I recently moved to Cobden as of March 2025 for personal reasons and now am seeking another comforting and supportive
environment in which to thrive as a employee.
