Summary

I have spent 19 seasons in professional baseball starting as a batboy and clubhouse assistant to spending five seasons as a professional manager. Since the age of 6, I have devoted my time to the process of managing a professional baseball team. I am very good at managing human resources and organizing the execution of daily tasks that will lead to sucess on and off of the field. In my nine professional seasons of independant baseball between playing, coaching, and managing I have won four championships and made the playoffs eight times. My connections throught the game worldwide with my experience in Mexico and Australia will help me greatly. I am interested in becoming the next manager of the Chicago Dogs.

  • I effectively served as bench coach during our time in Mexico preparing advance reports and assisting the manager with in game decisions
  • This was a valuable experience as far as learning about both the Spanish language and cultures of Latin America

  • After leaving the Mexican League I was able to spend the entire 2022 Pioneer League season as the 1st Base and Catching Coach for the Ogden Raptors also serving in the bench coaching role and preparing advanced scouting reports for the club
  • I was hired in Ogden by Kash Beauchamp after working with him in the 2020 Futures Association and also having assisted him with the Arizona Diamondbacks Professional invite only tryout camp

  • Started out as an assistant coach with Mark Weidemaier
  • Halfway through the season, I took over the club going 17-8 as manager and winning the regular season championship on the final day of the season
  • We also led the league in most offensive categories as well as pitching while having two players sign with Major League Organizations, one of those was a sidearm pitcher topping out at 85 mph who is currently in AAA with the New York Mets
  • From a 3-10 start, the club I took over ended up becoming the winningest team in USPBL regular season history

  • During the summer 2014-15 season in Australia I pitched for the Division 1 Baseball Club and was awarded the team MVP for posting a 2.34 ERA in 59.2 innings pitched
  • During the 2015-16 season I won a league-best 10 games, pitching 102 innings and led our club to the Division 1 championship series
  • In the 2016-17 season I once again pitched over 100 innings and was named club MVP
  • During my time with the club, I also helped to develop players who are seeking professional contracts and organized practices for the juniors in our club
  • I have helped select little league teams that would go on the represent the state in national competition and have led two regional teams of 14-year-old players to regular and post season championships
  • During the 2017-18 season, I became the head coach of the Cheltenham Baseball Club as well as the Chairman of Selectors leading the club to a 23-3 record, a club championship, a Div

  • For two seasons, I managed the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs
  • As manager and general manager our teams enjoyed enormous success
  • I selected and recruited all players for our teams
  • The 2016 squad broke multiple league records for offense as a team and had many players promoted to higher leagues
  • That team also won a silver medal in the World Baseball Challenge in British Columbia, Canada
  • The 2017 team led our division in pitching and won two playoff series before losing the championship series to High Desert
  • Overall, during two seasons, our regular season record in Roswell was 86-45 (41 games over .500)
  • We also held a 7-6 record in the playoffs
  • During the COVID pandemic, I returned to manage an abbreviated version of the Pecos League in Houston, Texas
  • Shifting my focus at that time toward development, several players from the 2020 team have moved on to success between the American Association and the Atlantic League

  • In 2013 I played for Ozzie Canseco and the Edinburg Roadrunners of the United League, where I finished the 2013 season in the bullpen and won a championship
  • Brownsville Charros- I followed Ozzie Canseco and to the newly formed Brownsville Charros Baseball Club of the United League for the 2014 season
  • Roswell Invaders- Later during the 2014 season I signed with the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos League of Professional Baseball
  • I spent the next month with the Invaders, pitched well, and gained my first professional coaching experience when I took over as the Manager of our team and 3rd Base Coach while our manager served a suspension
  • After the season, I went on to assist the Texas Summer League and learn more from the professional coaches who were working there
  • (I have attended ten different professional development leagues in order to gain more experience as a player and in my coaching career.)

  • Milwaukee Brewers- Arizona Fall League (October 2000- November 2002): Hired by Tony Pena to do the work of three older workers who I replaced
  • I worked to prepare the clubhouse for players doing laundry, cleaning shoes, preparing food, moving equipment and managing the flow of the game by assisting the players and umpires
  • This led to my hiring for spring training with the Brewers
  • Milwaukee Brewers- Spring Training (2001-2002): Hired by assistant clubhouse manager Mike Moulder to work as batboy for the Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training
  • I kept this position until receiving an offer to manage all other batboys when the Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers moved their spring training home to Arizona
  • San Francisco Giants- Arizona Fall League (October 2003- November 2004): The Brewers discontinued their relationship as a host team for the Arizona Fall League and I was hired based on a referral from the Brewers to work for Vince Alcazar during the fall league
  • Vince is now the Head Equipment Manager for the Texas Longhorns
  • This fall league team moved in 2005 after the new stadium was built for the Royals and Rangers
  • Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers- Spring Training (2003- 2007): Hired by Paul Frie on the recommendation of Kansas City Royals manager Tony Pena I worked as head batboy for the Royals and Rangers home games for the next five seasons
  • In this role I managed and trained different batboys for each game
  • I was responsible for their performance and maintaining the flow of the game
  • Because of my performance I was given the opportunity to job-shadow the assistant general manager of the Kansas City Royals, Muzzy Jackson in Kansas City and learn about all management positions of their organization
  • Texas Rangers- Arizona Fall League (October 2005- November 2007): In addition to Spring Training, I was hired by Russ Oliver as his assistant in managing the clubhouse for the Arizona Fall League and also worked as a batboy
