I’m 14, and I’ve already had a couple of jobs that have been a good learning experience. I worked at a seafood shop, where I helped customers find what they needed and learned a lot about different kinds of fish and seafood. I loved talking to people and making sure they had a good experience.
I also worked as a café assistant, which was a busy environment. I helped with making orders and keeping everything organised, and I got to chat with lots of customers there too.
In 2021 I decided to start my own lawn mowing business. I distributed business cards that I had made in letterboxes in my local area. I had regular clients, loved earning my own money and helping people in my community.
