I am currently in my third year studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Canberra. I have experience in a large range of occupations which has given me experience working with a diverse group of people, including children and those with special needs. I believe I am a hard worker and a quick learner who would adapt quickly to any new position.
In this role, I supervise children ranging from 4 to 12 years old, teaching them to be respectful and kind whilst ensuring their safety and protection. On various occasions I have stepped up be primary educator in my superiors absence, furthering my leadership skills.
During this time I moved abroad to complete my military conscription where I learned a great deal about many facets of life. This included the importance of discipline, teamwork, respect, working under pressure and problem solving. During my serive I attained the "Kaajani Cross" for meritorious service.
In this role I was tasked with helping Marist students aged from 12 to 18 with their studies. This taught me a great deal about communication, patience, motivation and how each student is not the same, and help must be tailored to the individual.
