Summary

I am high school student seeking part time work after school and / or on weekends.

Recently, I completed work experience with a local plumbing company. Duties included communicating with clients, getting tools for the plumber, using some power tools and operating a digger under supervision.

Over the week I had early starts and typically did 10 hour days. I was exposed to an interesting variety of jobs including the installation of a new vanity cabinet in a bathroom renovation.

I am looking forward to learning new skills.

  • Gained experience working in the bathrooms showroom, familiarising myself with processes and products prior to my formal work experience with a plumber.
  • Assisted with the installation of displays, such as shower combo's and mirrors.
  • Assisted the sales staff with clerical tasks, such as filing paperwork, and learning how their sales system works.
