Caitlin Gething

As a motivated and dedicated student I have been involved in my school community, taking out opportunities to help at ours neighbouring school St Gabriel's. I have successfully completed early university degrees for Teaching at ACU and have finished my first year of my Uni course, Bachelor of Secondary and Special Education. Additionally have worked at Showground McDonald's for over three years as a crew member preparing and packaging food, serving and assisting customer. This has helped me to learn and develop a range of life skills.

St Gabriel's School

• Volunteered my time to work with and supervise children with disabilities
• Assisted teachers helping step up and organise class activities
• Played games and activities with children during lunches

Babysitting

• I have looked after children between ages of 2-7
• Met personal needs of children per parents instructions, organising rood and putting kids to bed on time
• Entertaining the kids, playing games and taking them to the playground
• Able to look after my cousin with ADHD
