Volunteer Experience

Habitat for Humanity, 07/03/09, 07/22/09, I was in a team of volunteers that went to Cambodia to assist in the construction of houses for the poorer communities of Cambodia. This experience broadened my horizons and awareness of 3rd world living and also how fortunate and lucky Australians are. Prior to the trip we were involved in fundraising with the funds being utilized to assist a school located in the Cambodian slums, these funds were used to purchase rice, school books, school uniforms and sporting equipment.
