Callum Elton

As an intern at Whittlesea Council, my role focused on collaborating with fellow technical engineers, supporting their work, and gaining further insight into the responsibilities of a technical engineer. Additionally, I actively engaged in online programs provided by Whittlesea Council which focused on workplace diversity, safety, and role expectations.

I volunteered as a technical engineer, responsible for setting up and monitoring cameras to stream weekly church sessions. I also managed the organization of these streams on YouTube, including handling thumbnails, content, audio, and other technical elements. Additionally, I contributed to the storage and upkeep of all used equipment.

As a member of backstage my role relied upon the streamlining of prop organization for smoother scene transitions and minimized downtime during performances. Alongside communicating effectively with cast members regarding cues or adjustments needed before going on stage to ensure smooth performance flow.
