Once fully signed off as a qualified carpenter I worked for GJ Gardener Homes for 2 years as Lead Carpenter, running 4 apprentices and 2 qualified tradesmen. Daily jobs and responsibilities included maintaining a clean and safe job site for all team members, following project timelines making sure they were met efficiently, the upkeep of all power tools and general building tasks.

Worked doing all aspects of concreting from house slabs to tilt panels to exposed foot paths and driveways. Through my time with Seaforth Concreting I assisted in preparing surfaces for concrete pouring using the appropriate tools and techniques, poured and finished concrete, collaborated with team members to complete projects on schedule and assisted in site cleanups and removal of debris after pouring operations.

Completed apprenticeship and then have since further worked for Auscon Building as qualified Carpenter. Work tasks include building brand new homes, maintenance jobs, renos, concreting, setting up house slabs to pouring them with frames and trusses and final fits.

Assisted with servicing farm machinery, assisting with planting/harvesting crops, driving machinery, mustering cattle, branding cattle, slashing, fencing and checking waters.

Assisted with livestock care and feeding routines daily. Maintained equipment by cleaning and performing basic repairs . Worked with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Loaded and unloaded trucks with supplies or products from the farm.
