Maintain and control irrigations systems both Manual and automated MAIT systems.

Implement fertigation programs and assist in decision making towards any changes that may be needed in regards to nutrient types.

Working out applied units and crop removal to ensure next seasons crops will remain strong with correct nutrients applied.

Adapting irrigation schedules to suit different soil types, weather events and maturity of crops.

• Led a team of 3-30 skilled and unskilled farm personnel depending on time of year and what produce was growing for that time slot.
• Overseen all aspects of day to day farming including. irrigation, tractor operations, planting schedules, fert programs, spray programs, packing shed quality control.
• Hired, trained, and supervised seasonal workers engaged in cultivation and harvest.
• Planned schedule for crop rotation, plantings and harvest. To provide correct amount of end product for agents to on sell.
• Purchased and ordered supplies such as seed, pesticides and fertilizer.
• Developed fertiliser programs, spray programs and implemented those through workers and also personally.
• Learnt Fumigation/Telone application through soil to control soil disease and also passed that training onto others.
• Explained and demonstrated working techniques, practices and safety measures for permanent and migrant agricultural workers.
• Liaised with suppliers and regularly carried out trials and control patches for a different range of products.
• Maximized operational profits by closely inspecting crops, assessing quality and identifying problems such as disease or insects.
