Hi, my name is Cameron Cox. I’m 38 years young, enjoy challenges, I'm motivated, level-headed, easy to get along with, but also strong-minded. I’m physically fit, and I enjoy and thrive on being busy.
I’m qualified, experienced, and confident in all aspects of horticulture. Horticulture has been my main interest, as I’ve done around 15 years in this industry, with 10 of those being in a management role. I’ve had a successful stint in sales as a sales representative and have also coached women's football for three seasons, coached Auskick kids football, and have been the president of the Nangiloc Football Netball Club for eight seasons, now with three seasons as vice president. All of these positions have allowed me to develop respectful people skills, time management, prioritized decision-making, and maintain relationships.
Having spent 7.5 years as a Farm Manager with my previous employer and their family farming business and now almost 4 years with my current employer I really would like to start looking for that next challenge that brings more responsibilities, networking, and overall growth in a career I can attach myself to.
I really enjoy being around people; I feel my time as president and my life experiences have allowed me to develop strong people skills, and there's rarely a situation in which I don't get along with someone.
I'm a dedicated and hands-on father of two girls, aged three and seven. I'm an active member of my community and am regularly involved in many things to which I volunteer my time.
Throughout my years as President and in my roles as a manager, I have developed a strong network of people, businesses, and contacts that I know, which in many ways can help me in all roles of any job, whether it's to find out information, get trades in, or just maintain relationships to benefit my career.
I'm confident in my personal and professional strengths, which I hope may become an asset to your business one day, if you see fit.
