- I was hired as an underground truck operator initially by Byrnecut, and I was to operate a Sandvik Toro TH663i . Jundee is an extremely high intensity site, which had a strong impact on my ability to work under pressure and reach hauling targets consistently.
- After 6 months I'd been passed out as a trainer, which meant I'd be expected to train all new hires until they're ticketed. This forced me to learn and understand the piece of machinery to a new extent. This helped in explaining to my trainee how they should operate the truck, and most importantly, the reason why it needs to be operated in this manner specifically.
- After 8 months I began and completed my training as a Nipper. I'd have anywhere between 2-4 Jumbos to look after ranging anywhere from 2-10 set ups per shift. The role developed my time management skills, while teaching me all of the basics of underground mining.

- My responsibilities at Heatleys consisted of, daily cycle counts, investigating stock variances, and ensuring other employees are following the correct procedures to avoid any stock variances
- Due to demand within other departments of the warehouse, I was trained up in all of them so that I could jump in wherever I was needed most. Working in despatch, goods in, and international orders has given me an opportunity to experience all of the major components of a warehouse, as well as an understanding of what a warehouse needs to flow seamlessly specific to each department.
