A hard working, quick learning professional who excels in both solo and team environments. Has a great attitude to maintaining work standards and enjoys the challenge of solving problems.
I'm currently filming my first feature documentary, primarily being filmed up in Hope Vale, and relocated to Australia to do so. I am currently living in Melbourne and have been working as a landscape labourer between filming shoots. Working as a landscape labourer has primarily involved planting, jute laying, and maintenance (brush cutting, mowing)
I will be moving back to Cairns in August.
I was hired as a freelance filmmaker to direct and film the four-part docuseries Mary Fowler, which streamed on 7plus and is now available on Rebel Sports YouTube channel. Filming was done in Australia, France and England. I also edited segments of the series.
I played professional soccer in Europe. Notable clubs were Vitesse Arnhem in Holland, FC Dordrecht, also in Holland, and Cardiff City in the UK.
I also represented the Irish national team at youth level. I stopped playing soccer due to injury.
As a filmmaker I have honed a vast range of skills including developing relationships with people through authentic conversation, communicating effectively and technical skills
Playing professional football from a young age also taught me many things such as working within a team environment, discipline and time management; and a desire for constant improvement and learning
Throughout both of these careers I have learnt to explore creativity, problem solve, and think critically under pressure
