  • Preparation of reports and court documents in cases where children did need to enter statutory care.
  • Coordination and participation in processes such as Strengthening Families and Family Group Conferences which places the family at the centre of decision making and as the expert of their lives.
  • Completion of Section 29 reports, these reports were ordered by the Family Court when there were custody disputes. In New Zealand this task was given to Child Safety to undertake and specialist social workers undertook the reports. I was identified as a report writer and completed multiple reports for this purpose.
