Carissa O'Hehir

Hi,

I would like to introduce myself. My Name is Carissa O'Hehir and Im currently looking for relief work. I am available monday's and every second wednesday. I have two children. My daughter Bailee who is 5 and currently attends Canning Vale Primary, and a 14month old boy. I have worked in the early childhood industry for 15 years. Over time I have completed my Certificate 3 in Teacher Assistant, Certificate 3 in childrens services and my Diploma in Early childhood. I have worked in Long daycare with all different age groups throughout the years. I have assisted my room leader and have also been a room leader myself in both nursery and Kindy aged children.

I am very passionate about helping young children and supporting them throughout their learning journey. I am looking to share my learnt knowledge as an early childhood teacher as an Education Assistant within your school. I love to help children in their emotional development, social and educational skills.

I am a very caring educator with outstanding experience and enthusiasm for teaching and supporting children and teachers in the class room. I have been successful in building strong teacher- student relationships using my upbeat attitude, my patients and making sure all children feel safe and secure. I believe i am very adaptable in coordinating with peers on team projects as well as working independently to achieve goals. I am an organised and motivated employee, eager to apply time management and organisation skills while facilitating the students and schools growth. With my knowledge and skills i feel i would be great in the younger early learning within the school environment.
