  • My appointment as House Leader in 2019 allowed me to learn and refine my communication skills. I had to voice my ideas across to my peers and leader effectively. It also meant I had to be very organised, as I had to stay on top of meeting dates and upcoming important events while balancing my schoolwork. My consecutive years of being a soccer captain have proved my leadership skills. I have to understand complaints and issues raised by my teammates so I can appropriately resolve the problem. It also has meant that I need to be a great communicator as I need to thoroughly explain things like game play, pressure and the overall environment. I have worked in the fast food industry at Red Rooster for over a year. The experience has allowed me to acquire a heightened sense of customer service and responsibility. I currently have a front of house position and believe that I have gained many valuable people and soft skills through over my year of customer service experience.
