Carlos Lavatai

Hardworking student-athlete striving to meet his goals, actively plays many sports but mainly plays volleyball. A young teenager filled with energy and commitment that impresses both teammates and opponents with his ability to pass, spike, and block beyond his years. Enjoys playing sports and truly values essential lessons about dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

My aim in becoming a volleyball player is to compete around the world, meeting and facing new people. In the end i want to be able to compete in the FIVB volleyball mens world cup and gain enough experience to help younger players.

Represented Corinda State High Schools volleyball team as well as participating in coaching them and reffing practice games. Played for Elites volleyball club under 15s in my first year of playing volleyball competitively, placing fourth in Division 1 out of 22 teams. Also competed in Division 1 for Elites in state championships, coming third. recently made under 17s division 1 and 2 and currently competing to keep a position in division 1.

2023: Successfully coached a volleyball team of peers, played for an under 15s division 1 team for my first year playing competitively

2024: accepted into under 17s division 1 and 2 for the team that placed top 3 last year.
