As a Second in Charge, responsibilities include guidance, support and general supervision of children, staff, and volunteers in absence of the Nominated Supervisor of the service.

• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all enrolled children, staff, and volunteers at the service;
• Be the Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) at the service, and in absence ensure that another RPIC (as defined by National Law) oversees the service;
• Weekly rostering of staff reflecting optimal utilization of personnel;
