After many years of being an independent and goal oriented professional, I decided to have a stop in my career and give my undivided attention to my two children. And while it was scary, it has become the most nurturing and rewarding experience of my lifetime. It has made me a more resilient, well rounded, compassionate, patient and giving individual. I feel lucky, incredibly blessed by having had this experience. Now, in 2024 I am ready to go back to the work force, give back to the community and make my children proud by entering into a new life chapter and evolve my family life.

Some of the skills that I practiced and master during this period include but are not limited to:

  • Managed time efficiently in order to complete all tasks within deadlines.

  • Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.

  • Supervised children engaged in physical activity, learning and social skills with peers.
  • Managed finances effectively with budgeting and expense tracking to achieve financial goals.
  • Handled conflict resolution within the family unit to promote an environment of understanding and harmony.
  • Identified warning signs of emotional and developmental problems in children.
  • Developed strong relationships with educators and healthcare providers for optimal support of family and community members.
  • Established routines within the household that promoted consistency in daily living while allowing flexibility when needed.
