Part-time role heading up the Clinical Myotherapy Bachelor Degree, working closely with the Sports Development team. Teaching duties, writing content, assisting students with degree and career progression. I enjoy shaping students academically, and learning new teaching styles with each new cohort as they come through. I started teaching in 2007.
Working in a team of three Physio's, one Emergency Physician, and three Strength & Conditioning coaches. Biggest achievement as this club was starting with a pre-season injury list of 29 athletes, by the end of pre-season the injury list was four, and by the end of the season that list was two athletes (both injured in-season) - all eligible to play finals, and we won.

My role as part of these medical teams, was to provide health care, physiotherapy treatment, recovery and acute trauma support to ensure high level performance. I also implemented protocols specific to the team. Most of these appointments I was the sole person on the medical team, although I worked closely with any Sports Physician and Strength & Conditioning coaches.
Working under one of the best Foot & Ankle Physiotherapists in Australia, Stuart Imer (consultant to Elite State and National sporting bodies), I got to experience an array of difficult foot and ankle injuries and have continued my passion for this area since. I now pride myself on my foot and ankle diagnosis and rehabilitation.

Soft Tissue Therapy Congress - I was approached by the conference convenor and chose to speak on one of my favourite topics - Adolescent and Child Related Pain, to 250 delegates.
Assisting with clinical trials for Musculoskeletal Research - collected data, conducted tests on volunteer subjects and equipment.
