I manage a team of nurse and midwives in the after hours period and coordinate the shift to ensure high standards of patient care is met

I ensure the hospital I work in is staffed appropriately and that safe working conditions continue

I liase with members of the multi-disciplinary team and discuss in detail patient care and well being

I problem solve and try to resolve at local level where possible

I recognise when it is appropriate to seek advice and support from my Director of Clinical Services with issues that are beyond my capabilities
