As the Senior Public Relations Officer for Leisurecorp, I worked closely with senior management and this role primarily focused on managing all internal and external communications for Leisurecorp and a large portfolio of international and domestic property assets.
Prepared presentations, press releases, briefing notes and detailed Q&A guides for the CEO of Golf and the CEO of Leisurecorp and accompanied them to high-profile media events, media interviews, property launches and conferences.
Prepared detailed itineraries for the CEO and senior executives at all media events in Dubai, Scotland, South Africa and Europe and accompanied them to all media interviews and events.
Worked cohesively with agencies and corporate partners to prepare and distribute joint press releases globally.
Nurtured positive relationships with corporate partners and celebrity Ambassadors in relation to joint media announcements, ensuring positive publicity for Leisurecorp and Dubai and mitigating any risk of negative publicity for Dubai.

In 2008, many Dubai World subsidiaries were closed down and there were large scale redundancies as a result of the GFC.
I was moved into a Sponsorship and Communications role, supporting the Director of Sponsorship for the Dubai World Championship golf tournament (now the DP World Championship). This role involved;
Providing a wide range of administrative support to the Director of Sponsorship including preparing presentations, booking domestic and international travel and accommodation for the Director and other senior executives, calendar management and scheduling of all sponsor meetings,preparing meeting agendas and sponsorship proposals, taking minutes at sponsor meetings and following up with potential leads.
Once all sponsors were confirmed for the tournament, this role involved managing the deliverables of sponsor contractual obligations at the tournament and building positive relationships with sponsors in a challenging financial environment.
Managed all aspects of a variety of sponsor and media events of all sizes ranging from senior executive breakfasts and dinners, to media golf events , to the global media launch of Dubai's partnership with The European Tour, to a high profile media event in Scotland announcing Leisurecorp's acquisition of Turnberry Resort, and a number of complex photo shoots in locations such as Shanghai and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
