  • At Bolands Waterford I was a service advisor for numerous car brands. I was mainly a advisor for BMW and helped out in Mini, Citroen and Hyundai. In BMW I answered service calls and done bookings. I also did up invoices and handled any exchange of money for customers and also helped with accounts with companies. I would of been dealing with many different insurance companies with crash estimates and final figures on estimate to go ahead with work. In my role of service advisor I made sure the process was a smooth as possible with customers making sure their experience goes well from when they drop their car offering a transport for them if required. I also carried out bookings for Mini, Citron and Hyundai and advised customer on prices by working with parts. In Hyundai I started to help out warranty advisor with work from Hyundai claiming recalls in their server. In both BMW and Mini I used the server SGATE and AIR in finding out recalls that were required to be done and if cars are still in warranty. From this we could see what service was required and if the vehicle had a service pack attached. I greatly enjoyed working in Bolands as I was keen on learning all this different parts of the business and getting more experience in each department.

  • At Dooley motors I carried out the role of service advisor for Ford and also KIA. In this role I used a system called keyloop which we used for creating new vehicles and customers on this system and finding existing customers and also was used for make bookings for customers. Being front of house I answered all calls coming into the business and directed them to sales and parts if required. I used the ford and KIA systems to help customers identify what service is required and also if anything have gone wrong in their vehicle if their car is covered under warranty.
