I am a dedicated and motivated 25-year-old with a strong background in healthcare, having worked full-time in the same dental clinic for the entirety of my career. I have developed a strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to patient care from my 8 years in allied health. I am flexible and open to relocation across Queensland to pursue my goal of becoming a qualified paramedic. I am applying for the Graduate Paramedic Internship Program to build on my healthcare experience, contribute to my community, and further develop my skills within the Queensland Ambulance Service.
Key skills I have developed during my time on placement include strong communication, particularly when engaging with patients and families about sensitive or challenging topics. I have strengthened my adaptability and problem-solving abilities in dynamic and unpredictable environments, ensuring patient care remains the priority. My experience has also enhanced my teamwork, cultural awareness, and resilience, enabling me to work effectively with diverse colleagues and communities. These skills align with the Queensland Ambulance Service’s values of professionalism, compassion, respect, and delivering patient-centred care.
