Passionately committed to building community and broadening audiences for the contemporary arts, with a continued primary focus on challenging audience perceptions and extending intercultural understanding through the arts Master of Visual Arts, 2002, Queensland College of Art, Griffith University Over two decades of industry experience as a curator, gallery director, arts consultant, valuer, policy writer,and in theatre production and design. An extensive background in contemporary visual arts and arts management, with a focus on Australian, Indigenous and South East Asian contemporary arts, crafts and design. Extensively travelled, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with Australian, Torres Strait Island and Indigenous Australian artists, and South East Asian arts communities. Regularly contributor to publications and exhibition catalogues, both here and overseas.
