Prepared and administered medications including oral/intravenous/subcutaneous/ intramuscular/sublingual/topical/ocular/ rectal and vaginal/inhalants and nebulizers, performed wound care, ostomy care, responding to emergency situations, emergency trolley checks, basic health assessments, mental health assessments, pain assessments, neurological and neurovascular assessments, preparing consumer for theatre, pre-operative and post-operative care of consumer, incentive spirometry/peak flow, electrocardiograms, specimen collection, catheter care, feeding through nasogastric tube. Insertion and removal of intravenous cannula, removal of sutures, assisting with mobility-walking belts/slide sheets and mechanical hoists, care of the dementia patient, care of the dying/palliative care, active and passive nursing exercises, applied principles of infection control, assisted with bathing/showering/toileting client. Porta Cath and PICC access and administration.
