• Managing our day-to-day finished goods movements:
• Own the process of accurate finished goods management, including cancellations; add to stock through Sealynet.
• Liaise with the Customer Care and Despatch Supervisors regarding any movements and returns back into the factory.
• Hold regular meetings to ensure correct processes have been followed in regard to cancellations.
• Support the Despatch team with any issues arising from short supply or missing pieces.
• Take ownership of the end-of-month finished goods stock take process.
• Maintain and update inventory records to reflect the physical movement of products.
• Perform regular checks of finished goods and follow up on any discrepancies.
• Forecast raw materials on a daily and monthly basis.
• Oversee the acquisition of materials needed for production.
• Review stock levels regularly to ensure that sufficient stock is on hand.
• Ensure quality control measures are adhered to, and attend to product quality issues as they arise.
• Set, manage, and review purchasing policies and procedures.
• Liaise with management to keep them up to date with any delays or issues, and address any concerns they have during the purchasing process.
• Run regular MRP reports as part of your Inventory Control function.
