Tutoring: Freelance Duties – In my job as a tutor to High School students, I have demonstrated my ability in a number of diverse and desirable skills. I report to both parents and students, and consistently deliver on their desired outcomes. Enhancing the knowledge, capability, confidence and performance of my students is an area I have an outstanding and quantifiable performance in. Furthermore, I have delivered exceptional levels of customer service to students and their families in order to produce measured results and outcomes by significantly lifting the grades and performance of my students. I am highly confident in many subject matters, across all student subjects in both junior and senior school: Science, Mathematics, English, History, Biology, Music and German Language studies. I can provide technical coaching and guidance around these subjects. Additionally, it is part of my current responsibilities to ensure that students complete all assignments to a high degree whilst managing workloads across multiple other subjects. I also have an integral ability in teaching students how to create resilience for foreseeable future stress and provide tools – such as exceptional organisation skills - to manage high levels of stress in a pressured environment with numerous time constraints.

I am adept at effectively communicating procedural tasks for completing assignments whilst adhering to the highest level of criteria. I also encourage students to approach their teachers for feedback in order to enhance their outcomes, which many people struggle to do confidently in situations.

I not only consistently and accurately identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of processes regarding students’ work, but also identify any possible barriers preventing the implementation of more efficient processes and key initiatives. I am able to share actions allowing for easier and more efficient ways to mitigate those barriers. Not only do I provide educational help to students, but also emotional aid in highly stressful times. I possess an emotional intelligence that allows me to read, monitor and understand behaviours and respond empathetically and appropriately until the issue is resolved. I must always, without fail, show an expert understanding of both the broad and detailed objectives of the subjects I coach, all content involved in their education, and effectively manage parents’, student’s and teachers’ expectations. I must also show and utilise exceptional written and verbal communication skills in order to professionally and clearly communicate complex information to all parties.

Babysitting: Freelance Duties – I have been required to look after up to three children from three years of age to 14 years of age, clean up their lunch or dinner mess and ensure they got to bed on time. Moreover, I have had to manage difficult and irrational behaviour with a calm yet authoritative tone, with client's children who have what would be classified as behavioural issues. I have also had to deliver on following the rules and requirements set by parents and make sure the kids meet them, even in those times they don’t want to.

I currently play French Horn in the Queensland Youth Symphony, and have held section leadership positions in previous Ensembles with whom I have been a member. I have been learning to play this instrument now for 8 years

I have also been learning the Cello for the past 5 years.
