Prior to undertaking university studies at Ulster University I completed secondary level education at St Marys High School Limavady where I was deputy head boy; through this role I have attended meetings and have spoken on behalf of the school on several occasions. Through both university placements and working as a graduate building surveyor at Johnston Houston along with my role within the Northern Ireland Housing Executive I have developed a variety of skills within both the private and public sector construction industry which I believe can be adapted to a number of career paths within the built environment, in turn making myself a valuable member within the workplace as I am motivated and committed to working within a team based environment.
Since moving to Australia in January 2024 I have been working with Beth Rivkah Colleges as part of their maintenance team in which I have conducted the following works and tasks but not limited to the following:
