As a person from a culturally diverse background and personal experience of family members living with a disability. I am passionate to advocate and empower individuals and their families to live and participate in and achieve their life goals and aspirations.

As a long term Foster Carer of a child with a disability, and CALD background, I have experience in advocating, collaborating, negotiating with other professionals across multidisciplined to achieve the best outcomes. Also have supported other families and individuals to access and understand the processes involved in obtaining diagnosis, obtaining appropriate intervention though therapies using their NDIS plan, supporting plan review and ensuring all appropriate reports are available. I have good knowledge of NDIS and plan coordination, having facilitated the process and also undertaken an Intensive Support Coordination Course through DSC.

I am willing to undertake necessary training to embark on my journey as a Developmental Educator/Positive Behaviour Practitioner.
