I have spent 10 years working within the child care industry in which most of that time I undertook different leadership roles throughout including directing, leading rooms, sustainability officer and educational leader. I love working with children and believe I am a vibrant, fun and flexible role model for children. I treat children with respect and believe that from birth baby is able to sense a persons energy and perception of them. I believe that is why it is important to create a safe atmosphere for babies and children to be themselves, express their needs and feel heard. Although I enjoyed my time working in the child care industry it no longer fit with my values and it was time to try something new. I have recently completed my Royal Life Saving certificate which i received great feedback about lessons on. These lessons involved teaching varied stages, this positive feedback included my positioning, use of equipment, feedback and guidance for the children, communication skills providing this and overall performance. I am confident working with children creating fun lessons, showing leader ship while allowing them to have a voice and using appropriate behaviour management tactics when and if necessary.
