I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who has been committed to education for over 20 years. I have taught across various learning environments in both Tasmania and Australian Capital Territory and I am looking forward to experiencing teaching in Queensland.

Majority of my classroom teaching has been with the Early Childhood setting, Prep and Year 1/ I have taken on release roles from Prep to year 6 teaching subjects such as Technology, Science, Arts and Health.

Teaching Aspirations

As mentioned, majority of my classroom experience has been in Prep or Year 1 settings. To further my career, I am inspired to teach within the Kindergarten setting to build a better understanding of the Early Years Framework. I also have a passion for learning through play based investigations. This is an area I would also like to be able to implement more in my teaching.
