Our team advocated for a world class education system in Australia and our push resulted in the Government launching the Be That Teacher campaign to encourage Australians to consider a career in teaching.
• Bush Summit is another national project that explores the challenges and immense opportunities for rural and regional Australia. This campaign has been hugely successful with major political leaders and industry heavyweights like Gina Rinehart joining our panel to highlight the issues that needs to be addressed.
• Improved delivery of the Health section by featuring celebrities in the stories and realising an overall increase in reader satisfaction.
• Improved delivery of Home magazine by overseeing the magazine redesign to make it more consumer friendly, moving away from building-heavy stories and looking towards styling renovations.
• Increased advertiser interest in the Home publication with home furnishing retailers coming on board.

Some memorable story highlights:

- Breaking the news of Collette Dinnigan's pregnancy on the front page of The Daily Telegraph before her then partner, Richard Wilkins, had announced it on his Today show.

- Interviewing NRL footy immortal Andrew Johns about his battle with depression.

- Nabbing national TV and radio attention with an online first person account about how my then nine-year-old son spent $12,000 on the Dragon City app trying to kill an dragon.
