• Owner operator of a sole trader picture framing business and gallery in Kyneton/Malmsbury, 90 km north of Melbourne, Australia

Highlight: One of my most famous clients in my business was Scott Pape – The Barefoot Investor. I framed his books for his publishing company when they celebrated that over 2 million copies had been sold. I further helped him choose frames and frame his work for his new office. This work included a handwritten note by Warren Buffett!

The role as a professional artist has involved:

• After closing my business in 2022, I went to Sweden for 11 months and stayed and helped my family. During this time in Sweden was working with Lotta Rautio at Konst och Ram (Art and Frame) in Kalmar
• My responsibilities were general framing, client consolation as well as assisting and organising art exhibitions

Highlight!: I participated in an exhibition at Rautio. One of my artworks were purchased by the local art council and later a part of the annual yearly art lottery!

Highlight: I got to experience a wide range of different responsibilities and I got to handle and see a lot of great art!

• Established and developed an ‘Organic Veggie Box Scheme’ together with the local green grocer in Kyneton. The scheme was profitable and we supplied organic food boxes to between 20-40 families per week
• Established a local FB group with an ordering system
• Weekly orders from customers (on-line)
• Customer service/ complaints/ problem solving
• Developed spreadsheets tailor-made for the scheme: weekly orders, packing lists, order lists, profit and loss statements, projections
• Packed the veggie boxes

Highlight: The work was very rewarding in so many ways! We however struggled with the business structure. The owner of Watts Fresh and I came to the agreement that the scheme was successful but more money was needed to be spent on developing the software side of the business and as we could not see this happening at this point we closed it down.

• My main employment role was as a picture framer I did however fill in for floor staff when needed

• Assisting Natural Science Conservator Felicity Bolton to re-house, photograph and create anoxic-micro environments for the Museums Pyrite collection
