National Pharmacy Christmas Pageant Participant

Being an NP member allows me to put in applications each year to be selected for the most magical time of the year, both walking the Adelaide Oval and the Pageant route on streets this year. To bring smiles to children's and adult faces makes my day. The adrenaline on the day of knowing how much fun and exciting people are, including myself is the best feeling. Knowing I am one of the people who are leading Father Christmas into Adelaide.

I have been an active member of the PACS for over 15yrs. I assist in making our banners for players to run through before games both Men and Women. Often starting the background making in February of each new year every Friday night (does change if we have weeknight games), starting 18:00 at Enfield Community Centre, this usually is 2-4 hours of tracing, cutting of letters & number to get words ready for, preparing the background of the banner with rolling out crepe paper sticking together with lots of sticky tape. Being chosen to take photos of the banner game day as the players run out.

I look forward to every Friday with Banner Making, catching up with Port Adelaide fans, some of whom have become best friends.
