- Setting up day to day objectives for the staff based on bookings, and drafting up their daily runs as efficiently as possible based on driver ability and resources available. Effectively arranging daily rosters and working with drivers on a personal level with close meetings to encourage that positive and clear communication is achieved.
- Monitor and liaise with the staff to ensure the tasks are completed on time and correctly.
- Improvise jobs on the run when spontaneous situations occur and recreating the runs on the spot.
- Purchase stock and equipment for yard. Organise the servicing and maintenance of equipment for plant and vehicles.
- Operate the grease treatment plant onsite from delivery to disposal.
- Train new and current staff on operating procedures for servicing septic tanks, grease traps, portaloos and portable toilet blocks. Also how to operate plant machinery and vehicles, and how to use the unique equipment specific to the services we provide.
- Liaise with clients from booking their job required, educating them about their systems they have when onsite doing their job, and leaving them with the knowledge to maintain their tanks after we have left the site.
