My goal is to seek and maintain a full-time position that offers sponsorship towards Australian permanent residency. I have studied no trained in Aged Care and Disability because I'm passionate about helping people and have a keen interest in Aged Care, particularly Dementia Care in which I have gained reliable experience. I am able to utilise interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills to manage compassionate and individualised client care. I have experience in management of personal care - showering, grooming and continence care. I have managed medication for a private client and in my experience with Disability clients. I am able to offer daily living support, meal preparation and full mobility assistance. I can offer excellent interpersonal and communication skills developed through both my ongoing studies and my experience. It has been said of me that I'm compassionate and have a gentle touch and caring attitude. I treat people with dignity and respect. I am a team player who is highly motivated to succeed. I left my home country to ensure that I achieve my dream of becoming a professional Aged Care worker in Australia. So far in my young life, I've reached many of the milestones necessary to fully achieve that goal.
I speak English as well as Nepalese and Hindi. My multilingualism is an asset in multicultural Australia. I am young and hard working and willing to learn more than I already am proficient in my chosen field of Aged Care and Disability Care. I worked for a private client whom I cared for deeply. She caught Covid and died in Hospital on 23rd June, 2023. I stayed with her in the hospital to care for her for 11 days and nights until she passed. This experience taught me many things about compassion and loss but did not deter me from my path. It only made me more determined to care for the Aged and try to make their days and lives more enjoyable and brighter.
