Summary

A organised and reliable graduate teacher obtaining a Bachelors degree of Primary Education specialising in Catholic Education. I have 5+ years of professional learning experiences in facilitating the development of children's learning from the ages between 5 to 13 years old; including those with learning disabilities.


After completing my university degree, I currently work as a relief teacher in different schools and year levels. I have been known as a reliable member and adaptable, with a determined capacity to learn and apply new skills.


My expertise is focused on developing innovative activities aligned to the learning areas and sub strands depending on the Year Level, as well as utilising effective teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement. Experienced in effective communication to parents and colleagues, critical thinking and curriculum planning, which has also been implemented into my current part-time job teaching in a split Pre-Primary & Year 1 class. I am determined to contribute to your teams success and further develop my professional teaching career.

Outline: Currently a Part-Time Teacher every Friday in a split PP/Yr 1 classroom.


  • Maintained positive relationships with parents and other colleagues through open lines of communication and fostering a supportive learning environment. Eg., using a program called Compass to send communication to parents, outlining to them what their child has learned or is currently learning.
  • Assessed learning goals and lesson objectives regularly using diagnostic, formative and summative assessments to inform future lesson planning.
  • Differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring each student had an equal opportunity for success.
  • Developed and executed formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
